During my forth and final year at Coventry University, where i studied automotive design, we were able to display our final major projects at our annual degree show. The project was research based and aimed at removing a user from the stress of the accelerated pace of life in the year 2025.
For the show i displayed my research, and design development on a A0 size poster, with an animation displaying an Alias model and renders as well as a conceptual sculpture representing the final design. A major part of the design was the use of OLED screen around the interior to give the impression that the user could be fully submersed in any environment they wished. This feeling created by the OLED screens inspired me to create a model made from transparent perspex symbolising the effect of the interior disappearing into any environment.
